Compensation: Starting at $26/hour (opportunities for raises based on performance and tenure)

We’re looking for a caring, dependable, and flexible on-call nanny who enjoys working with children and appreciates a dynamic schedule. This role is designed to fit into your life—not take it over. Care requests come in daily, and we match families with caregivers based on the availability you provide. Most shifts will align with the days and timeframes you’ve already shared, making this a great fit for someone looking for meaningful, flexible work.

This position is especially well-suited for students, caregivers, or individuals seeking part-time or supplemental income with a schedule that can adapt. Though, full-time work is also possible and welcome. 

• Provide attentive, safe, and engaging care for children 
• Support play, learning, and age-appropriate activities 
• Prepare simple meals and snacks for children 
• Maintain a clean, child-focused environment during care 
• Follow family routines and preferences 
• Communicate clearly with parents about the day and any updates 
• Help create a positive, calm, and supportive environment for children 

• Experience with children (nannying, babysitting, daycare, education, etc.) 
• Dependable, communicative, and comfortable with flexible scheduling 
• Reliable transportation and punctuality 
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain — training costs are covered by the company) 
• A warm, patient, and responsible approach to childcare
• Must be able to successfully complete a background check as part of our commitment to safety for the families we serve

• Background in child development, psychology, or education 
• Experience with multiple children or different age groups 
• Bilingual ability

• This is a non-exempt hourly position 
• Overtime is paid in accordance with California labor law (over 8 hours/day or 40 hours/week) 
• Required meal and rest breaks are provided as required by law. Due to the nature of childcare work, breaks and meal periods are encouraged; however, caregivers may be required to remain on the premises while children are in care 
• As a result, meal and rest breaks may be taken on-the-clock, using professional judgment to determine appropriate timing based on the needs and safety of the child(ren) 
• Payroll is processed in full compliance with all applicable tax and employment laws
